You would not choose this hybrid for its seeds, though they will produce them. Ruby Moon is grown for its use as a cut flower. These new 'pollen-free' sunflowers still produce pollen, by the way. It's just that the anthers can't release it readily. And won't release pollen when brought inside. That means no more messy table tops.

Does the pollen free aspect mean that birds are less attracted to them? I have noticed that some of the pollen free sunflowers are very attractive, but I am primarily interested in attracting wildlife.

Pollen free does NOT mean seedless. It is the seeds, primarily, that attracts birds. Pollenless sunflowers still have all of the female structures unless they are a seedless variety. Most of the so called pollen free plants have the male structures, too.
