That plant looks like Heuchera v. 'Caramel'. It's a perennial!

Thanks, azngrnthumbs! I absolutely love it. Last year I had a Purple Palace, but it didn't do very well; my fault, I really didn't know how to care for it. But I really loved it, and I think I would love this one even more! The color plays off your dark red flowers so beautifully, and I think it would look great next to something dark and purple. Must do a little research on care of Heucheras before next Spring...

I grew them this year as well-bought 5- 4'' sized potted plants and put them all in the same pot....
I never saw so many hummingbirds!
The high heat of summer finally did them in,but I will replace them soon with 'Profusion Apricot' Zinnias!
