some new combos....

I learned today about some new combinations for companion-planting and repelling of insect pests.

Flax, dandelion, and horse-radish with potatoes are supposed to deter CPB! I guess dandelion will be no difficulty for most of us, huh? I've wanted to grow flax for a while now, so this will make it certain. I'm not sure whether horse-radish can be started by seed.....

Aromatic herbs with cole-crops to deter the cabbage-moth. I think I'll get a packet each of sage, thyme, and oregano and start them right in the same flats as the cabbage and collards. Never have had great success with germination of herb-seed but it shouldn't require many for the purpose.....
