You could try using one of the home remedies like milk or baking soda solutions. There are some fairly safe broad spectrum fungicides readily available over the counter that would also be helpful if you've a mind to use them. It is good to realize that any program designed to be preventative is always better than one that's fixative where disease concerns are the issue.

I also love Snapdragons and had your result when I lived on the coast. Here I have no rust and can also grow phlox with no mildew. Friends have told me they have had good results using Ultrafine horticultural oil even after discovering the infection. Al

Do you use those preventatively prior to getting? If so, what are solution ratios to use and how often?

I've never had problems/issues with snapdragon's foliage & have always found them free of pests. There are a few fungus/mildew/ prone plants in the garden I treat with anti-fungals, and I also regularly treat all my display type containers because of poor air circulation due to congestion of plant material. I'm not sure if you're asking about home remedies or a chemical fungicide. Though I'm familiar with and frequently use a variety of appropriate fungicides, I'm reluctant to suggest chemicals for wholesale use on the forums. However, if your inquiry was directed toward the organic or home remedies, try the link I provide. If you start nosing around a bit, I'm sure you'll come away with some interesting ideas.

And YES, preventative means prior to the fact - kind of like taking vitamins or showering everyday to prevent all manner of tiny visitors from camping out on our skin. ;o)
