After blooms have gone over, wait until the berry has swelled, then softened. Remove it and squeeze the seeds onto some compost, cover lightly with sand, and water. If the seeds were viable, seedlings may appear in as little three weeks, or it could take as long as three months. Species plants usually come true to the parent but most cultivated varieties will not. E.g., if you have a blue and white one, seedlings will probably show red and purple blooms.
