I've had coleus cuttings in water for about 1 month now, and I only see the tiniest of roots just starting to sprout. I thought it took only a week to see roots. The cuttings are about 5" long, have several leaves on the top half. I have clear plastic bags over them to give more humidity and are getting indirect bright light. The temps may be cooler than they like, around 60 degrees average.

Should I continue to leave them in water? Will the roots eventually grow? or should I take them out of the water and plant them in some potting soil?
