Hi,
Has anyone here used Zeba Quench (www.zeba.com) moisture retention granules in their veggie gardens?
I seached the entire Gardenweb site and there were only a few comments (but all good). I'd be interested in hearing more first hand accounts before applying it to my new raised beds.
I plan to conserve water by using drip irrigation, mulches, shade cloth, etc., but I'm mainly interested in the Zeba because it seems to retain water and release it over a period of time. Where I live now, there are water restrictions and we can only water 3 days per week. It gets VERY hot here in the summer, and there will be times when the plants have to go 2 days without watering. So I'm about ready to order some, but wanted to make sure there weren't any horror stories or cautions concerning its use that I should be aware of!
Thanks!
Anne
