OMGosh, Just 1! Really? How on earth could I pick just 1! I have my whole landscape ready for planting and all I do is dream about plants!

Hmmm, I do dream a lot about the new elderberry- sambuca "black lace" and purple smoke bush repeating the color a little further down the border.

But then I think about old garden and rambling roses climbing along my fence....dr van-fleet, new dawn, the wonderful fragrance of an old moss rose....

But then I'm on to dream about my woodland gardens and my skyrocket juniper hedge....

Then I think about spring bulbs, daylilies, iris, perennial border...

Maybe it would help if I were not so ADD...LOL

Certain named iris---like Jennifer Rebecca or Cranberry Ice---etc. Ignored iris for years---just thought of them as the old fashioned purple and or gold ones by the fence that you see everywhere. Then saw some pictures of Monet's gardens and the effect of lots of iris in diff. pastel shades in large groups with other plants. Loved it! Started looking into it and found all the lovely pinks and blues, lavenders and yellows with white, and even fragrant and reblooming ones! Now gotta have em! Want a whole collection! lol Have a little hillside I want to cover with them.
