What type of crown was used?

Is the crown actually crown? It looks flatter. I'm going for a "flat" crown look and would love to know what's stacked here.

    HI designcraven- Yes it is a flat piece below to make a "stacked" molding. You can do this with a good carpenter, or with pieces you can get at a home store like Home Depot. You can really make whatever you want and not stick to any true rules except a proper scaled height in proportion to your ceiling height.
