new container garden

20 years ago

well, i recently decided to make a container garden.... just a small one, no more than two feet long, and it'll be indoors. anyways, i know basically nothing about this stuff, so i have a few questions. i went to two garden stores to look for indoor plants that seem to need the same conditions. what do you guys think of a garden of cyclamen, charming parade (also known as miniature rose..?), african violets, and rieger begonias. will the do OK with the same conditions? they'll be indoors, with moderate light. what type of soil should i use? how often should i water them? and how close together should i plant the different plants?

thanks, and sorry for my n00b-ish-ness. ^^;
