Hi bonnieteng, kitchen manufacturers are unique in each geographic location. The key is to look at their quality in terms of types of the drawer construction and their reputation by reading reviews or talking to people you know.

Thanks so much for the comments and image Dytecture! The cabinets and handles looks like something we have in mind and would like. We will certainly have to talk to more people before we select the cabinet manufacturer in the northern VA area. We are thinking of put in a dark espresso brown wood floor in the kitchen to tie into the rest of the house but not sure if you think it'll look too dark in the kitchen with the dark brown cabinets. Any suggestions?
