First...what local seed dealers do you have...and saying they don't carry the seed you want is either a gimme or a cop out. or there's a reason. anyone is worth knowing.

then... ... ...try some of the seed exchange sources. Seeds of Change, Baker Creek, Seed Savers Exchange...SSE would be my bet.

then...what does the local university have to say? or if that one is a lib arts school, find an ag school with the same climate conditions or one that is known for work in rice.

I've checked all the online sources. Didn't think to try university ag extensions. Thanks for the tip.
