But if anyone is looking for seeds, they still had quite a bunch of packets at Big Lots. Both their small packets and big packets are on sale. They had a good variety of both flowers and veggies.

I have been told that the stores have to return them to the seed company if they are not sold. Two years ago, I was looking for seeds like in May or early June and the hardware store owner told me this information. Check the dollar stores, I've paid as low as 50 cents a pack at a dollar store.

In Lubbock the Walmart was sending the seeds back, but the one in Plainview had them marked down half off. I got a "few" since I "needed" them for my fall garden.
