Once in a while I find some rust on our blueberry shrubs, and when this happens, I prune off the infected leaves/canes, and compost the trimmings. But, I've been lucky, because only a few leaves were affected, less than 5% of the shrub. So far, this has worked for me. Blueberry shrubs respond well to pruning, a good thing, since we are visited by hungry rabbits every winter.
