Euphorbia? Which one?

20 years ago

I purchased this weird plant from the SALES SHELF in the garden center at my local Lowes Home Improvement center. I thought it would make an interesting "bonzai". The only name on the label was "Euphorbia". Can anyone tell me which variety?

After the flowers drop off, a few grow into these "seed pods".
