Annette, it's one of those resin pots, found it at a Christmas Tree Shoppe in Warwick, RI last year when we were on vacation. We are leaving today on another vacation to RI and parts of NE. Hoping to find a similar pot...this one cost $19.99.
Here is what it looked like just after I planted the lotus...

We did have a little solar powered frog spitter in it for a while but then it got so overgrown,

no one could see it, so we moved it to the pondsai.

So no, there is no running water right now...too much vegetation. There is about 1" of water over the soil surface, but I keep mosquito dunks in there to keep the mosquitos out.

I use an Olympus C-750-UZ with a polarized and UV filter.

Joyce I always look forward to your pictures. Not only are they beautiful and perfectly composed but you have the coolest plants and garden. What is that purple and pink leaved one with the Caladium, another Caladium or some sort of Xanthosoma?

That plant is Caladium bicolor var. rubicundum. (something like that)
