Necessity is the mother of invention. I wonder how they would perform in the humid eastern U.S.? How about hailstorms and wind? I hope there is experience using them in our area by the time my cherry trees ever start bearing, so I can know whether to give them a try. First I will use my generous supply of kaolin I have on hand to see how that does. Bagging apples is quite a pain, but has worked very well for those apples that stayed on the tree. Northwoodswis

I have been looking for variations on the apple bag idea for smaller fruit as well. I found this company in Australia, but they don't ship overseas, and I can't find a N. American supplier. They have quite a number of interesting products--esp. long sleeve/bags to put over an entire branch. Does anyone know of similar products available in US? Has anyone tried some such?

I found a Canadian retailer that say they will ship to the US (link below) and they do carry the Kootenay Covers, although they are expensive. I haven't found any similar products available in the US.
