I have a small u shaped kitchen. The only way I can get an island in it is to lose the peninsula and put an island where the kitchen table is. So the island won't be near the stove. The island would seat 4 and have only a 24 inch cabinet and a 36x56 inch top. Does it make sense to do this or should I keep the peninsula u shaped configuration?
