Reclaimed Barn Wood on Island

I LOVE this kitchen. I am planning to do the exact same thing to my island and was wondering on the side (towards the front of the cabinet) of the island where the reclaimed wood butts up to the white cabinet how did you make this transition look nice? Thanks!
