Try Asian cultivars offered by local outlets. Many have them.

My local nursury recomends 'Izu', as it ripens earlier

I have one in my back yard, it is young and lost all its fruit when they were about 1" last year. It is still a young tree though.

I have Nikita's Gift. Live in PNW. Took almost 5 years for a good yield. Ripening the fruit is bit of a problem. No diseases so far. I have clayey soil. Easy to grow. You can eat the fruit only when it is fully ripened.

Thank you so much for all information Pachhu. But I like Asian none astringent persimmon, therefore I Just plant Izu, Coffee cake and maybe Saijo persimmon for pollination processes.

I would get one from plantmegreen.com Google it, they are phenomenal. They are well underrated and it took me two days of searching online for a large persimmon tree online to find this nursery. They have asian persimmons that are well established and potted. I have a friend near Seattle that grow Fuyu so you should have no problem. I just received a 5 gallon persimmon (3-4 years old) asian pear (3-4 years) and a bare root peach (2-3) that cost about 100 dollars with shipping included. I recommend the Maekawa Jiro, non astringent variety from plantmegreen.com

Persimmon have a thick taproot and few roots so I would not recommend getting a bare root since they are notorious for not breaking dormancy.

Fuyu Asian persimmons are carried by just about any independent retail nursery in the Seattle area. They are a very popular tree fruit here and various cultivars are available ("fuyu" is used as a catch-all term for any non-astringent Asian persimmon). They are fully self fertile so cross pollination is not required.
