I planted like 17 Apple trees and 4 Pear trees two years ago. At the time, I bought 2 year old trees. Only one of the Pear trees started to bear fruit. I have a problem with Cedar Apple Rust with the Apple Trees. I just sprayed Horticulture Dormant Oil spray on them on 3/10/14. That is suppose to kill some of the insects that may have been on there throughout the winter. I never applied any other sprays to help them ( never planted trees before, but mulched them all and fertilized them). Can someone please help me out with a great spray to use and WHEN and HOW OFTEN??? I'm located in Connecticut. Also, if you think there are any other spray I should apply, please let me know because I put so much work into planting them and would like to do what is best for them. I'm aware what CAR is and how you could be affected from trees 2-5 miles away. Any help would be great. This is my first post and new to this forum
