Neglected Strawberries

Hi. My strawberry plants have been neglected since late last year, and I don't know what I should do to get them back on track. I planted 16 Ozark Beauty strawberry plants in a 4'x4' raised bed last Spring. I was good about plucking blossoms and clipping runners until late Summer, then the bed was neglected while I traveled for business. I didn't remove any foliage or mulch the berries prior to Winter, and now the bed is a mess and I don't know what to do. I don't think the plants have started to grow yet, but they will soon because it's been warming up fast. My plan for this weekend is to remove all or most old foliage, thin the plants to 5-6 per square foot, fertilize with balanced fertilizer, mulch, and install drip irrigation. I'd really appreciate any advice. Thanks, and have a great weekend.
