I know it's sustainable, I think it's beautiful. I haven't head anything negative about it related to tropical climates - does anyone else know anything about that?

It is the best in tropical climates. We are putting it into our beach house.

It's a sustainable and affordable alternative hardwood flooring. Certain strand bamboos are also even harder than wood floors, and the woven nature of the grass makes them very resistant to water and stains. It is a tropical plant, so it does best in humid tropical conditions that are similar to its natural habitat.
