Ha! You saved me from having to type it in. I'm in the same boat where I want to mix Immunox, Triazicide and also Agri-Strep (streptomycin for Fireblight) in the same tank. I don't think there are any issues here, but I wanted to post to make sure.

I have accidentally (several year ago) tank mixed commercial grade myclobutanil (Nova at the time) thinking it was Imidan 70. Sprayed the trees before I realized the error and suffered no consequences, except to my self-esteem. Worse dumb ass pesticide mistake I've ever made. That would have been over 10X label rate.

Doubt there'd be any phy-t issues with that combo. Label would say to test it on a few leaves. Very conservative those labels!

Just a note: my Immunox label states 1/2 fl. oz. (1 Tbsp.) per gallon, not 1 fl. oz./gal.

Check you numbers many times. I just found an error in one of my mixes on the computer for a spray I was about to use for the first time this season, it would have resulted in a 4X concentration. Scorched the piss out of an apple tree a couple of years ago spraying Malathion at 3x the label rate due to using tablespoons instead of teaspoons. That was the last boo-boo since I started redundant checking and writing down the exact recipe to have in front of me while mixing.

I guess my worst spraying boo boo (so far) is that I over-sprayed some peppers that were very close to some tomatoes I was spraying with Ziram. It nearly cooked the peppers. They sat there the longest time with the most pitiful looking foliage, but they did eventually recover.

Worst spraying boo-boo for me -- my sister reused the Grass-B-Gone bottle at her house, filled it with Roundup. I walked down, took it out of her garage, brought it home, and used it.

When stuff started to die a few days later, I made a comment about the grass-b-gone going bad or mislabeled, and she told me what she had done.

I told her it was OK to reuse the bottle AS LONG AS SHE LABELED IT. Luckily, there was only about a pint in it, and the stuff that was oversprayed wasn't anything all that special, mostly wild type orange daylilies, some raspberries that had really spread beyond their bounds anyway, and money plant.

My mistake on the Immunox I looked at my instruction label on the Immunox 6100 for apples and it reads 2/3 fl oz per gal of water so looks like the 1/2 fl. oz. (1 Tbsp.) per gallon would be about right.I called the Spectracide toll free number and asked the customer service person about mixing the Triazicide with Immunox and they dont recommend combining the mixture.So I mixed up a few gallons and sprayed my crabapple and some 3 yr old honeycrisp apple trees to see how they react before I try it out on the younger seedlings.

I mix Immunox and Triazicide when I can. No problems with the trees.
I didn't consider that the Immunox could carry some of the Triazicide into the system but I guess it's possible. DMSO was used to carry things into systems when they normally wouldn't enter.
If Spectracide recommends against it I'll probably stop.

You probably don't need to spray your young trees unless you have something like Japanese Beetles threatening defoliation.

mcckkey: I am curious where you are getting the 2/3 fl oz rate from. Just to make sure, the UPC code on my bottle is 71126100 and the active ingredient is 1.55% myclobutanil, does your bottle have the same info on it? I scoured my bottle and can't find a 2/3 oz / gal rate anywhere. How long ago did you buy yours, mine may be older and the label rates may have been changed?

michael357 I purchased two bottles from lowes the other day UPC code 71121 61000 same active ingredient myclobutanil 1.55% instructions for Apple and Mayhaw (Powdery Mildew,Rusts and Scab control): Mix 2/3 fl oz of this product with one gallon of water and uniformly apply to all parts of the tree to point of runoff.Reapply every seven to 10 days so long as disease symptoms persist.Like you said they could have changed the mixing instructions I don't have any old bottles to compare it too.

Hmmm, interesting. I and others I'd guess, can say that the 1/2 fl oz / gal rate works very well for CAR and Scab on apples. Of course, follow your label rates to do it legally.

If the 2/3 oz label is a new, updated one, I wonder why they upped the rate so much.

Well, one time last year I think I messed up and mixed 1oz/gallon and it worked REALLY good :)

Maybe they were finding 1/2oz/gallon wasn't enough for some things.
I don't think even 1oz/gallon comes close to the professional mix.

No doubt they'll sell more product @ 2/3 vs 1/2.

Is the Immunex multipurpose safe to use on pepper plants also? I used it on my tomato plants as instructed on the bottle and will follow up in 3wks (if needed) but I needed to know about the pepper plants. Can anyone help me on this?
