My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Another new garden gal

I was inspired by the little girl in Sherry Warner Hunter's Making concrete garden ornaments book.I decided to make another little gal for my yard. She started out being a construction tube of cement, which I carved down. I then sand cast a large hat for her and imbedded a few glass pieces in the top, she is designed to have her hat act as a birdbath. She is around 3.5 feet tall and too heavy for me to manage very well. I have also created a man friend for her , I'll try to take some pics of him tommorow.
