Mine did the same thing, and I know how you feel!
I was told it was because it was too thin and I used no mesh.

hardware mesh.
I think my biggest mistake was my ball expanded when it got warm. It cracked and fell apart. I finally got some mesh stuff in the drywalling area, and cut pieces and strips. Put it on, and made one half at a time. And I made it thicker...lol probably too thick!

Do you mean you made two seperate halves and then put the two halves together with tufa?
