Not having grown Armenian cucumbers recently, I do recall that I did not let them grow longer than 12 inches as most of us do not like cukes when they get too many seeds. However, I did enjoy them and in the beginning with little experience growing cucumbers, they did grow very long and resembled a short baseball bat LOL. This year I am growing picklers, Fanfare, Tasty Green, Sugar Crunch cukes and they are doing very well.Typically, I pick cukes when they are about 7 inches long depending upon the variety. However, I still have Armenian cucumber seeds but do not have enough room to grow them this year. Good luck.

My vines are starting to produce like crazy now, I have already picked 3 and there are 10 growing!! I pick mine between 12" or 14". The 1st one I picked was a darker green but the other two were light green, all of them very tasty. Love them dipped in soy sauce as a snack.

In Phoenix I picked them every day and put them in my lunch. They were best for my purposes when about the size of a medium carrot.

I'm picking them in the general vicinity of 1.5" thick.

I don't know about anyone else's Armenian cukes, but mine are plotting world domination. The vines aren't satisfied with the trellis -- they want the fall cabbage bed and the path to DH's office as well.

They grow up to 24 inches best when picked below 18 I usually aim for around 14. Don't wait for them to darken and green color they are light in coloring
