They are all over the big box stores around here...do you have a Lowe's or Home Depot around you?

Split leaf philodendron (Monstera deliciosa) I have been looking for this plant too! I'm hoping to find a somewhat small one rather than a large one. I went to Walmart and Lowe's last week with no luck. Next stop, HD.
At Walmart I did find a nice Anthurium on sale though.

I know they sell the split leaf on ebay, but hopefully I'll be able to find one around here.

I got a good number of Monsteras/Philos at www.raretropicalplants.com His prices are a bit higher, but plants arrive in great condition..and no hitch-hikers. Toni

It might be hard to find a small one in a big box store because they grow without the splits when they are smaller, at least mine did. I have never seen smaller ones, only larger ones, so it might be because I dont recognize the small ones wihtout the splits

Tracy, I feel the same way..The smallest I've seen was a 6" and didn't even know if was a split leaf. Only when it grew larger did I figure it out..but like you I've only seen large 10" pots and up..Toni

Then I would say your best bet is to find a small cutting from someone in your area. I have posted on my local buy and sell, its a free thing, and I have gotten a couple cuttings and plants from complete but nice strangers. Otherwise you might need to buy the big one.

I just purchased a split leaf philly from walmart. They only had two left and they are selling them in hanging planters for about $8.00. Maybe they just got a shipment in.
