Since every camera is different, my onlly suggestion would be to read the directions as you try it...When I tried with my new camera the other day I had a problem too...all i needed to do was to clear the monitor...good luck!

Jitterbug, you know what I did? I bought a little camera card/disk/stick reader so I don't have to hook my camera up to the computer, I just take the little card out and put it in my reader. My all-in-one printer (printer, scanner and fax combined) has slots for camera cards too. It was so much easier for me to do that than goof around with the camera. You just access the cards like you would a CD or DVD you put in your hard drive.

Here's another thought ... did you download the software for your camera onto your computer? Every camera needs specific software downloaded from the manufacturer's site. It helps your computer read your camera and will provide you with step-by-step commands for transferring the pictures onto your computer. You can download the software for your computer at the link below.

Once you download the pictures to your computer, you should be able to upload them to Photobucket.

    I hope this helps!

Judy, do not be embarrassed! I have asked questions that made me feel silly too. Like if it was a snake, it would have bitten me kind of thing LOL .... and I'm still learning. I love Photobucket, and it seems to be the easiest site to use.

Did you say CHOCOLATE CAKE?!? mmmmmmmmmmmmm!!! :-)

It is better to have friends help you than to flounder around trying to figure out how to do it yourself! I think we have all done the same thing.

It reminded me of a friend at work. She was so upset because she said her cell phone broke. I asked her what happened and she said the battery went dead and it wouldn't work any more, even after recharging. I asked her if she turned it back on. She looked at me weird. I said when the battery goes completely dead, the phone automatically turns off. I looked at it, turned it back on and it worked fine. lol!

I won't tell you how many times I have tried using something and eventually found out it wasn't plugged in. he-he

I'm just glad you got it working and we can start seeing your pictures!

A short time back, someone showed a picture of a bell cap used to make plate flowers, could someone help me find that site. I believe that they bought them from HD. Thanks
