What street was the dock near? make a street sign & make it look like it is little ways from the corner which could be low flowers next to path & then maybe a vine over on the left of the booth going up over the booth. Since it was on a dock might have a wooden fence 6-8 ft long just poles like beach & have some rope like used on docks hanging off 1 of upright posts so looks like ready to cast off with your fishing boat. Got an old boat around, could have it upside down off behind it or right side up full of flowers!! Jan

It was a commercial fishing dock where boats from Alaska were moored in the off season. I doubt I could come up with a Bering Sea crab boat like the Time Bandit. lol
Thanks for the suggestions. You have enabled me to look at in a whole different way. I was trying to fit it in the existing design rather than build something to suit it. I'll think of something up here in the foothills.

For whimsey, line up some flamingos, waiting in line with one inside with a drink on wing and sunglasses on kicking back on the phone......

GeeMee2, I had a coupla pink flamingos around here for years. My kids had fun moving them around. I never knew where to expect them. Their names were Tongue and Cheek. They died of old age and went to recycle heaven. RIP.
I'll have to look around for some more. Good idea!

I have a 17 foot boat in my garden, and some 'fishy' stuff around it.....Now I might add a sign with a 'Pier' somewhere--LOL
