Thanks to Kueenofkings, the photos of the frogs were transferred. I have not learned that yet and I know it is probably easy.
I used glass tea light holders for the eyes that I purchased at the dollar store, and three different sizes of green gems to help define the warts you can even put gems on top of gems to get even a better wort effect.I used large clear gems for the eye balls painted on one side and slipped them in the tea light holders. When I glued the smaller gems around the edge and on the back the eyes had a green cast. They looked really good.
the stand that it is on was used for the legs and they were wrapped with screen to glue the gems on. the bowling ball is easy to drill holes in, so I was able to cut the legs off of the stand and insert them. I used a coat hanger for the tongue. I got the stand at family dollar for 1.00 and the gems at dollar tree.I hope you like them I tried to make them look as if they were jumping. I also left the thumb hole in the BB so I can put the frog on a pole jumping over my pond.I gave one away for a Christmas present and I really hated to see him go, he was a prince.

How totally awesome! I just love them! I just love the one catching the dragonfly! Thanks so much for sharing :^)

That's sooo CUTE. The way the frog was sitting, reminds me of Humpty Dumpty. I can just picture it on shelve or something. But great work!

Oh my gosh, they're so stinking' cute!! I love the idea of putting it on a pole so it looks like it's hopping! I could see these for sale at a garden center. I think people would go nuts for one!

What a hoot! Those are fantastic! They make you smile just looking at them! They would look great in a garden by a pond. You are very talented! Can't wait to see the pig! Thanks for sharing your wonderful creativity! Bear Hugs! Kirk

Now this is one I really want to try but am having trouble figuring out the eyes, can I get help with that part, just can not understand the tealight part. I can not see it well enough to get it right. Help.

Rochelle, I went back into the Inspiration album where the frog ball with the dragonfly is, and put in your name as well as your instructions.
Thank you, that will help folks in the future.
I can't wait to see the PIG one tho. LOL.

    hugs, Karen

    Thanks Purplemoon for your help!!!
    Lindasc,hope this helps!
The tea light holders from Dollar General are clear, but when you get the gems attached they have a green color. This frog is probly one of the fastest bowling balls I have ever done.probly because the gems are so big they cover the ball really fast. And also they dont have to be perfect just put the warts allover.
On the eyes they are easy but you have to hold them onto the spot where you want them untill the siliconeII dries good enough for the tea lights to stay on. You can use a lot because the gems will cover the bottom where you put the silicone and also when you put the gems around the tea light holder and around the bottom the gems give it so much support. The inside of the eye I think is what you wanted to know about it is a large clear gem I found them at the dollar tree, but have seen them other places. You just pick two that are close in size and paint black in the center white on the outer edge, put silicone and place in your tealight holder painted side inside to keep paint from washing away.I hope this helps.
Love to talk about my frogs!
I could sell them easy but there is a little work with the drilling and add ons.

I have made a few of these frogs and gave as gifts I really have enjoyed them.

Rochelle thanks so much. My daughter picked up some marbles from Michaels today that are all different sizes in a light green. They are not all the same shape and I will try one for her tomorrow. Lots of details to work out in a few days for Bible school starts. Thanks again.

Ok I am working on my frog and have changed the way the eyes are done. I glued a large white button in the bottom of the votive holder and then a black half marble on top, what do you think? It looks great to me. Can not find lips but found a pack of soldier boys with a tanker and there is a red piece in there that are shaped like lips but not quite the same but they will work and some children can play with the soldiers. I now have to get the tongue figured out and get some more critters to put on the tongue, I have found three at Dollar General so I have to search more. I have not found the dragon fly yet but still looking, I am not giving up on this project until it is accomplished. We might leave the legs off for the Bible School project but for ours at home we will add them. Some things are easier left alone and this is one of them, they will not know the difference.

    Lindasc,
I think that is a great idea on the eyes. I was thinking of the half marble myself the next one I make (how funny).I did not think of the button but that is a great idea! I also was going to suggest that you leave the legs off. They are just as cute without them and a lot less work. I have a little store and my employees wear shirts with a frog leaping in the air on the pocket, and on the sleeve's edge, we have
    FROGS
    (fully rely on God).

Where is my frog? On the last night of Bible School someone took my frog instead of their frog and I said I would not let anyone have that frog so now my son-in-law has to get it back. I worked too hard on that little fellow to let someone else have him.

Oh you need to get him back!!!! Put out a reward or something!!!
When he comes home please post his picture!!!!
    Thanks,
    Rochelle

Oh my gosh!! Those are so cute!

My frog is still croaking in someone else's pond, he still has not found his way back to my house and I am so afraid he will get damaged. I hate to say too much but looks like I will have to go for it and ask "WHERE IS MY FROG"? I want him back, I worked too hard on that thing and what if his eyes get knocked off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!He will not be able to see how to get home.

That is to funny! Not that he is gone though. Maybe you will be receiving a ransome note soon.
The only frog I have left, well, I had him on a pole jumping over my pond. We have had so much rain here and my little prince fell and did damage to one eye( and I must say they were very secure)and he damaged his frog legs! He is being put back together right now. It makes me think of mysweetie75 comment, that he reminded her of Humpty Dumpty.
I will take extra precautions to secure him better,he may not be able to be put back together again.

HE'S BACK, HE'S BACK!!!!He did not need any surgery when I picked him up last night and he was so glad to get back home until he did not close his eyes all night. Now we are both happy. Any he just got a good shower of rain so he is happy someone else's finger prints are washed away.

Linda, you will have to post a picture of him once he has fully recovered from the trauma of being frog-napped!

I think these frogs are the cutest thing. If I had more room on my balcony, I'd try my hand at one!

My Frog is up and running I mean upand Hopping!

I hit the submit button befor I told you, about my frog and friends. The lady bug in the lower right hand corner is my very first project. My Mother's nick name was Ladybug. So when I started looking at this forum in 2006,KweenofKings showed me her ladybug and I decided to try one. I have made several for gifts but my first was made out of my Mothers bowling ball two months after I lost her.
During all of the rains we had here last week, my little frog or I should my big frog(he weighs about 16 lbs.) had a bad fall and had to have some repair. I have decided to look for the kiddy balls,if I should ever do another.
also the tire planter was my birthday gift from KweenofKings.
This is the first time I have been able to put a picture in my post. Sorry it seems to little and then when you click the picture it seems to big!
