Yes and no. Gynoecious cucumbers are usually known for predominantly female blossoms. A parthenocarpic cucumber will be fully gynoecious but have the capability of setting fruit with out pollination. The fruit will never of course have viable seeds, Usually they are considered seedless. These were developed for green house growers but have expanded into home gardener market. A variety may be gynoecious without also being parthenocarpic. Parthenocarpic varieties do not need insects or hand pollination.

How do you tell if one that is Gynoecious is also Parthenocarpic? I have a cucumber, Slice Master, that is an F1 hybrid - I've seen info saying one, other info saying the other. All flowers are female, so I at least know it's Gynoecious but no idea if its also Parthenocarpic
