I'm interested in trying to propagate our wild mulberries via "truncheons". Took a look around the web but couldn't find anything to helpful. How big does the truncheon have to be exactly? When would be a good time to take it? When can I expect results? As whoever is reading this can see, I have no clue. All Ive read is that you bury it 3/4 the length of it. I also read that you can expect fruit the following year. But I don't know if I buy that. Any tips would be appreciated.
Thanks, James
