Green Jewel Cabbage

Hello everyone,

I have been tirelessly searching the net for Green Jewel Cabbage seeds. This variety was the absolute best here in South Louisiana but it cannot be found anymore. Does anyone happen to know why or does anyone know where I might be able to find some?

I can't find a seed source either. Green jewel is on the list of recommended cultivars for Georgia by Fort Valley State. It mentioned by Clemson for South Carolina and I even found a field trial in Saskatchewan, Canada, but no seed source. I checked the major Georgia commercial seed vendors. Probably a hybrid that did not capture market share and was dropped.
