Teardrop Prisms-found some

Shopping in the Christmas section at Walmart, I found boxes of them intended for ornaments. Over 100 in the box for $6.97,drop-shaped,clear,2 sizes, with hole in the top for hanging. This summer I paid a lot more for just a few of these to hang from some rusty faucets to look like water dripping from them! I think they're acrylic..some kind of plastic? Hope this was the right place for this, maybe it should have gone on conversations side....

Ohhhhhhh, awesome find for some danglings in the summer breeze. Lucky you, can't wait to see pics (even if we have to wait all winter).

Thanks, Kudzukween. Being as I am on a budget, I didn't want to pay a hefty price for some. I have looked at yard sales, but no luck. I am heading for Wal-Mart tomorrow.

I saw the faucets with the dangling crystals too and thought they were awesome. At a flea market-like fair I went to in September, they had crystal "teardrops" selling between $10 and $30 depending upon size. I wasn't too enthused about putting something that expensive outside! This is very good news. Thanks for sharing ladies!

Kudzukween, can you tell me what area they were in at your Walmart? I looked at Christmas things in ours the other day, but only found a few of the crystal drop looking ornaments for like $2.97 for two. Would love to find a whole box for the price you did. Luvs

Our Walmart converts the garden center into the Christmas section. Then there are a lot of aisles back there, and sort of a "theme" for each aisle. The one I found the prisms on was the aisle with all the black and white Christmas themed things.(ugly, except for all the cystal-looking pieces) It's a square plastic box, clear. You will probably enjoy all the other prism type pieces in other shapes,a little more money, but not expensive, connected by jump rings. Also, the lady working there said they dont even have all the Christmas things in yet. Good Luck!
