I couldn't tell what it was made of, my eyes are not as good as they used to be, but it looks pretty.

Hmmmmm...looks like a bunch of wine jugs to me! It that's what they are...someone had fun working on that tree! LOL

And...if it's all glass...I sure hope they don't have kids...or animals for that matter! CRASH!

It's really pretty cool. I wish the picture was bigger. I tried enlarging it, but then it was blurry.

    It is something !!!!
Looks like bottles like you said Sandy....
I do hope they have glued them to the tree stand or something... and hope they don't live in the earthquake area!
    EEEEEEK !!!
But I bet it is really pretty with the lites!!!!
If I had a tree like that I would have to putit inside a large
    plastic box!!!!
Well I like to see people's Ideas.... it is amazing how many different things people come up with!!
I sure enjoy it... it's just that I want to try to make one like all of the.... NO WAY !!!

Very pretty! Looks like each layer is pretty stableized with a glass "tabletop" did you have fun emptying all those jugs yourself? VBG!!!

It isn't mine. Wish I could take credit, pretty crafty idea for those empty bottles.

Don't you wonder where they stored them before they "built" the tree? I wonder if they own a restaurant or bar.

It just reminded me of the time DH#1 and I vacationed in a cottage across the street from my grandparent's house on Cape Cod one year. My brother would come to our place in the evening, and we'd have a couple of beers. We figured out Grandpa was going thru our trash when he took it to the dump and would comment on how much we drank. So...we went to a bar and got a whole slew of empty bottles...and put them in our trash! Poor Grandpa...we never heard another peep out of him!! LOL

check out the Redneck site posted earlier, you can see the ones made of bottles that are plastic. Safer for kids.

Wow, that's a pretty tree, and what fun it must have been collecting those bottles. I feel a little tipsy just looking at it! What a funny story Sandy! Poor Grandpa, must have thought his grandkids were whinos!

That is pretty. They made great use of old bottles, that's for sure. I think the tree at the Redneck site was made of Mountain Dew cans and the top was a 2 liter bottle from Mountain Dew. I'm surprised they stopped bouncing off the walls enough to build it! lol! Wouldn't you hate to have a cat try climbing this tree?

    Thanks for sharing foxygrandma!

WOW! EXCELLENT!!! Real trees for Christmas is such a booming business here, but I'd rather have that tree and a few of us standing around blowing on a few more empty ones, some Christmas carols! We Wish You a Merry Christmas...heh heh! Way to Recycle! I'd have to make mine outta water bottles tho...

That's beautiful! I love recycling! I don't think that tree would last in our house though with our 9 month old learning to climb! LOL Thanks for posting this tree! It's great! Kirk
