and i am tending to agree with zack ... as to getting rid of it ...

gravity tends to make tall things fall down.. and all the dead branches ... and either poor pruning.. topping or prior storm damage .... tend to make me think this tree has too many problems to even conceptualize 'saving it'

at a min.. you need to pay a professional ASA certified tree surgeon to give you an on the spot opinion of its future health ...

however by that time.. i usually skip paying him.. and just pay the chainsaw guy ... your choice..
