I plan a complete redo of my lawn this fall. I purchased a bag of seed from seedsuperstore.com with bulleye, monet, and falcon cultivars. Then I bought a bag of Southern Belle with firecracker, xtremegreen, and canyon cultivars.

I set up 2 paper cups in my west window to see a) what I bought and b) how long to germinate.

The seedsuperstore mix germinated immediately and I had 4" grass in 7 days. The Southern Belle started to germinate in 5 days.

My question is: should I put down the slower growing seed and wait a few days to put the faster down so they might germinate and be ready to cut at the same time?

Or does this even matter?

I would have bought all from seedsuperstore but too expensive! :-(
