Looking for something similar to Ctna. Quest's Millenium

Ok so I totally fell in love with the Ctna. Quest's Millenium that Ray had in his pictures from WOC. (last photo) Hamlyn Orchids appears to be the only place that has it. (I have written to Quest Orchids to see if it is theirs and if they have it but have not yet heard from them). So in the mean time I am looking for anything similar and need your help. It is a wine red with a yellow center. The petals are long and thin rather than rounded. The Ctna. Why Not is similar in color but not in shape. Any suggestions?

Larissa, did you hear from Quest yet? I know what it's like to *have* to have a particular orchid. :) Whitecat8

I have not yet heard from Quest. Are delays in communication normal for them?

Oak Hill has the Ctna. Why Not that is similar in coloring (the petals of the 'why not' are more rounded rather than elongated) so I may just end up ordering that if Quest does not have it. But i really hate having to settle...Hopefully it will eventually turn up in someone's stock. Its amazing that an orchid that was used in a current display at WOC would be so hard to find.

Goodness, 10 years later!!!!

I happened to be lurking around on Google trying to find some info on Ctna Quest Millenium and found your post. I live about a mile away from Yolanda who owns Quest here in Miami, FL and I bought the orchid in question and repotted it this p.m. Did you find it? I think she has more although she is a difficult woman to deal with. Her husband is nicer.
