Seeing no-one has attempted to answer your question I'd suggest that you look up complete culture notes on the net for Lycaste. The two Genera have been bred together to produce Angulocaste and I suspect need similar growing conditions.

Never heard of it. Trust ArthurM, look it up online. It must be a new mix.

These are definitely specialist orchids not likely to be grown by the growers on this newbie centric forum. I've seen about one every other year at orchid shows, but haven't had the gall to try them myself.

Arthur has it right. In the absence of help here, search online for anguloa culture notes online. More common will be lycaste culture notes, which Arthur correctly noted have very similar requirements.

I will say that with new roots starting, your in a good position moving forward. Use the notes you find online to build on that.

If say generally starting, give it a coupe hours of direct sunlight, and don't let it get above 80F (intermediate temperatures).

Thank you very much - I have about 50 orchids but none from this genus.

I have read up on lycaste and hope I don't kill the poor thing.
