Compost tea is useless thing IMO. The best characteristic of it is that itÂs not harmful. Aerated compost tea was invented by Eleine Ingham. It definitely not harmful but is useless too. Best characteristic of it is that it does not smell. And does not hurt anything. Eleine Ingham is very active woman. She is a scientist, a teacher, a business-woman, an author of many books. So, she is so active that even the word "active" is always going in front of her. Thus she called her child not simply "aerated compost tea" but Actively Aerated Compost Tea (AACT).
She looks at microscopes, gives consultations (around the world), she has scientific degree, 3 laboratories around the world and etc. The only thing she has no yet is a propeller on the back.

Unfortunately, all these accessories do nothing useful to plants and soil. Sometimes she says that brewers are not good and this is the reason. But compost tea will not work even if make it in brewers made entirely with gold. I hope that some time she will come to the idea that brewers were good, compost was good, molasses was good but  her idea was bad. It will be main achievement of her life.

That is what can I say about (actively) aerated compost tea.

You didnt mention the kvas idea though. It was your post I read about it origionally.

Kvas and EM are combined under the word "fermentation".
Fermentation is incompatible with aerated compost tea because it is made anaerobically.

Tea works for me. I have done experiments of plants with and without it. I have been making teas since before they were called teas. lol I like to take assorted organic good stuff and mix it with water and shake or stir well. I like to use it within 1 to 3 days. It makes my plants grow so well it shocks people. I use a lot of different ingredients in small amounts each with nearly every watering.
