Nobody on an organic forum can help point me to a resource?

I don't have experience with what you're attempting so take my advice with a grain of salt. Hydroponics and organic gardening, at least traditionally, are at different ends of the spectrum. Hydroponics uses soluble fertilizer and inert media like bags of sawdust or rockwool - the nutrients are all measured and mixed accordingly. Organic gardening uses manure, compost, and soil - nature takes care of the rest.

I think the way you propose may be more challenging than either growing organically or 'standard' hydroponic.

There is certainly an organic proponent to any area of hydroponics. (using organic ferts that are steeped into teas) I first learned of wick hydroponics using organic nutrient, from a gentleman who developed growing systems in third world countries. I guess it could also be considered 'permaculture'. Regardless, I know it is done, just want to learn it, myself.

Peggy Bradley did quite a bit of work with organically fed hydroponics for third world nations where other nutrients were not available. There are a number of web sites that list some of their methods and results; one is linked below. There is also some interesting work using water run through vermiculture containers in Africa. I read about it a while ago, but don't recall the location. I believe the growing was in Kenya.

I do not see any reference to using rabbit manure teas as nutrient. The only thing that I see, is some references to commercial nutrients being supplied to the students, where no other options were available. Please forgive me if I've missed this information...

A big concern would be the buildup of pathgens in the system which is why sterile mediums and material cleanliness are important in hydroponics.
