Have you Googled it now? If so, you should have figured out that it is a naturally occurring fermented sugar, not at all dangerous to you (unless consumed in excess, much like anything else). And its insecticidal properties are limited, primarily addressing fruit flies, not ants.

In most cases, ants are pretty much harmless in the garden - they generally don't eat plants but they can disturb seeds and sometimes consume tem. Typically, if they are seed hunters, they will transport the seeds to their dens/burrows for storage.

There are ant-targeted insecticides on the market and you can always rely on the fall-back borax and sugar method to trap. Boiling water on the dens is effective as well.

Can I ask what plant you are direct seeding that you would expect sprouts within just a "few days"?

As already mentioned not only is Truvia a naturally occurring sugar that you have consumed likely for years when eating fruit, ants are generally considered garden beneficials or at least neutrals, not pests. The exception is fire ants.. And if you were seeing "eggs" it is more likely they were termites rather than ants.

I'd suggest further research as there are many very unreliable sources of info out there on the web..
