A lot of my customers have used Briarwood cultured stone. It looks natural and beautiful. I also like At Glen cultured stone with it, as well.

Full disclosure, I work for Eldorado Stone so you know which stone I would suggest. The Silverton Mountain Ledge Panels are great for fast installation on long runs of flat vertical surfaces. It's also one of my favorite colors. However, it's a large panelized stone which can be difficult to work with in smaller areas with corners, like columns.

In your photo, the space in the front appears to be maybe 24 inches wide. Unless that's the exact dimension of the panel, you'll have to cut a panel. That's not a big deal, and the cuts can be disguised, but an individual stone would probably work better in that area. Individual stones give you a variety of stone sizes to work with and fill in any sized area with minimal cuts. Eldorado offers Mountain Ledge which would give you the same look of Mouantain Ledge Panels except in individual stones.

Which ever stone company you choose, I suggest a stone profile with individual pieces instead of a panel for your project. You'll be happier with the end result.
