small leak in pond,

I am just cleaning the pond, getting ready to set up for the season, and notices a small tear in the bottom of the liner, some ground water came up as i was cleaning. I want to know if it is okay to leave it as it is or do i have to patch it, and how?
The pond is 3 1/2 ' deep and about 20 feet in diameter.

There is a little water in there now, and I left it overnight and it seems to not have changed at all in level. If i leave it will it leak into the surrounding yard and cause future problems?

You posted this in the Gallery section. The discussion section is the place to post. Yes, I would think that patching the tear would be a good idea. there are patching kits on the market. You can get a better answer in the discussion section.
