Hello, I have a small concrete pool that I would like to make into a pond. The pool is about 2,500 gallons. It is only about 8 ft long and 10 ft wide. It was made to just sit and relax in. We no longer want to have a pool guy and we do not want to run all the equipment. My question is first do I need to cap off where the water comes in and exits through the pool pump and filter. I might want to make it a pool again one day. Also do I need to do anything to the bottom drain and does anyone have any good ideas to make this work? Thank!
