Hello! I'm in need of a little help.

I was recently gifted an orchid that has just finished blooming. The plant looks healthy with the leaves being firm and a nice green. There seem to be plenty of healthy roots, but it probably needs a good soaking since it hasn't been watered recently. I can't see a pseudobulb, so I'm guessing it is monopodial.

The previous owner says it's a cymbidium, but after researching this type of orchid, I don't know if that is correct.

Does anybody recognize this?
