It's made from nails that are used to put horse shoes on horses. It was a very common art use in the mid 60's to late 70's. C. Jere AKA Curtis Jere was a popular mid century artist that made many bronze sculptures. If you research him you will find various other artist from the same era. It is actually a fairly easy piece to replicate if you know a good artistic welder.

This wall sculpture is a very rare vintage piece. Finding a similar original would require checking with various international vintage and antique dealers. The cost for such a piece would be another factor to consider. Sorry, I don't mean to discourage you.

One can get less costly metal wall sculptures in the USA, but once you see them in the flesh, they often look "very cheap" and the quality tends to be poor and not worth the purchase price and the shipping cost.
