Can ladybugs be overwintered?

I've got ladybugs EVERYWHERE now. They are swarming around the doors and windows looking for a way in.
Is anyone aware of a way to keep them alive until next spring so that they can munch on the aphids in my garden?
It just seems a shame that so many will die when the temperature drops.

This spring I had asparagus beetles for the first time and purchased about a thousand lady bugs to keep the asparagus beetles in check. Now, when the garden is about done for the season, I've got an explosion of ladybugs.

Anyone got any ideas?

Leave them be and they'll be fine.

The ones you are seeing are most likely the Asian Lady Beetles and they will overwinter, mostly in our houses. Many of the others overwinter in the bark of trees or other similar places.
