Advice pls

Our pond has just gotten over the Heron attacks. Did the fish line -he got around it. Did the net, he tried to still get em and wounded a couple of koi. Raised the net he still hamered hard on the fish-put up a snow fence around the pond--stalement!

Water quality was not the best as we have a couple of family members who like to feed them--multiple feedings thru the day==poor water quality.

This has led to what I beleive is fin rot diesase in the pond (5000 gals).

The injury fish developed the fuzz and soon became listless and died. The fuzz was usually on a injury--also fish were ocassionally scrapping themselves on the bottom, not as much recently..

So the Heron problem is settled, the water quality is back to normal(feeding very little-they love the string algae!)But I think that Fin Rot is still lurking

Still see one koi with a little fuzz---I want to treat the whole pond with melaflex and be done-(instead of pulling each fish) I am using bio-filters and don't won't to damage them either.

What do you ponders think?
